"Tyree Bishop is most deserving of recognition as the Play It Smart student-athlete of the month. He is an outstanding example of what a student-athlete should be. This young man shows by example in the classroom and on the field of what it takes to be successful by his hard work ethics.
In the classroom he carries a 3.0 GPA; is highly respected by his peers; and the same goes for him on the playing field. He has some outstanding performance in games that meant wining instead of losing. This young does his community service by raking leaves and shoveling snow for the elderly on weekends when most young people had other things to do Tyree is also a member of G.W. state champion track team", writes Tyree’s Head Coach Steve Finesilver.
