Rossum is a volunteer at the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, he is Big Brother in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Program and also spends time with the elderly. He holds a part time job on top of his current responsibilities and was named to the All-District Team during the 2006-07 football season.
