Prep 48 Training By now many of you have heard of the Prep48 program and the benefits that the program can provide to your campus. Prep48, a web-based solution, allows students, parents, coaches and guidance counselors to simply and accurately track a student-athlete's academic progress toward qualifying for NCAA initial-eligibility. If you have not been trained or have not scheduled training sessions with your program officer please do so. We encourage you to involve others at your school such as guidance counselors, coaches, and athletic directors to maximize the benefits of the program. If you are unable be trained at the same time, that's ok. There is a user manual for the program so once you are trained on the system you will be able to assist the others within your school. We are working to increase the amount of resources available to member schools and encourage you to take advantage of resources like Prep48. As we move forward we hope to bring you more benefits that will help your student-athletes realize their dreams. So play it smart and contact your program officer to get set up on the system.

Keybank Bowl Downtown Showdowns
(Indianapolis, IN) Ben Davis and Lawrence North were 2 of 4 high school football teams to be the first to play in Lucas Oil Stadium, the new home of the Indianapolis Colts.
The two teams were participants of the first annual Keybank Bowl Downtown Showdowns. Ben Davis Head Football Coach Mike Kirschner had this to say in the weeks leading up to the game; "the kids were ecstatic when we gave them the news! We have some good, athletic kids, and if we come to play, we'll be OK."
Ben Davis certainly showed up to play, as the Giants were victorious over North Central (48-20).
"The Lawrence North Football Team had an awesome experience playing in the brand new Lucas Oil Stadium", stated Academic Coach Kyle Williams.
Unfortunately, the outcome was not what the Wildcats were hoping for; as they were defeated by highly ranked Warren Central 56-14.
For each touchdown scored in the 2 games, ProLiance Energy donated $250 to United Way agencies to assist with electric/gas costs in the winter. Ben Davis and Lawrence North collectively helped to contribute $2,250 for their performances on the field.
