"Kwame is truly a student-athlete. He has been a member of the O. Perry Walker football team since his freshman season prior to Hurricane Katrina. Since he’s been in high school, Kwame has an overall GPA of 3.33. This past semester (Fall) he earned a 3.75 (during football season). Kwame did not win many individual awards during career at OPW, but his character meant more to this team than anything he could have ever done on the field," writes his Academic Coach Sheryl Eaglin.
