"Play it Smart has been good for me because Ms. Kelly has helped me prepare for my future by keeping me on task with school, work, ACT/SAT tests and guided me as I apply for college. I don’t think I would be going to college without the help of the program. A year ago my GPA was under 2.0. Also, Coach Kirschner has helped me by always pushing me and making me do a better job on and off the field," says Kevin of Play It Smart. "Kevin has done a great job focusing on the things that are important. He is a young man who use to just get by, now he is on a mission to excel. He wants to succeed and continue his education at the collegiate level. He is a success and has made a commitment to school and athletics," writes Kevin’s Head Coach Mike Kirschner.
