"Kenneth is another one of our outstanding young men here at George Washington HS who is most deserving of recognition as the Play It Smart student-athlete of the month. Ken has always set the highest standards possible on the field and in the classroom. He was the starting running back for this year’s city championship team and was also a very good defensive back whenever needed. In the classroom, Ken carries a 3.2 GPA and scored 20 plus on this year’s ACT test. Ken is working very hard and hopes to earn a football scholarship to Clark Atlanta University or Colorado State University-Pueblo in Colorado. The many and tireless hours of community-service; working with the elderly and the elementary schools is another example of Kenneth’s high standards.
