"Anthony participated in a school-wide poetry slam on overcoming violence and won the entire competition with a piece title "Better Life". The piece was so powerful that Anthony will now represent Galileo HS at a city-wide spoken word competition at the DeYoung Museum. Anthony showed great courage, wisdom, and leadership and inspired fellow Galileo students to think nonviolently," writes his Academic Coach Sorden Davis.
